Version 2026-10-10 · written by the founder · not reviewed by counsel. This page says what Nova does, in plain words. It is not legal advice. When a lawyer edits it, the version line changes and nothing else has to.

Where things stand. Nova has not opened to the public yet, and nobody can play for real money on it today. What you can do today is join the waiting list at intellnova.ai (section 13). These terms describe the service as it is built and as it will run when it opens. Where a part is not switched on yet, the text says so.

1. What Nova is

Nova is a browser game platform at intellnova.ai. You talk to Nova, an in-browser host, or you tap the Games tab, and you play. Every game is decided by skill alone. There is no chance, no house edge and no random outcome that decides whether you did well. Nova is not a casino and takes no bets. We never play against you: every seat in a room is a real person, and there are no bots and no invented players in any room where money is involved.

The games are GLOMO VOLLEY, a one-against-one volley game, and ZIRKO, where two to four players each guard their own goal. A third game, ORBITA, shows "Coming soon" and cannot be played yet.

Every game has two ways in:

  • Practice is free, always, for everyone. No entry fee, no stake, nothing to win or lose, and no account needed.
  • Play for cash puts a $1 entry into a small room against other people, and the winner takes the pot. It is for adults only, in the countries listed in section 5, and it needs an account and a wallet.

2. Who runs it

Nova is run by LosDudos SRL, a company registered in Romania, registration number (CUI) [CUI], registered address [registered address]. In these terms "we" and "us" mean LosDudos SRL.

Where to write: hello@intellnova.ai. One person reads it and answers by hand.

3. Your account

Practice needs no account. The first time Nova needs one, your browser gets a random device id and a token from our server and keeps them on this phone or computer. That id is all practice needs.

An account is needed only to play for cash. You can make one from the age of 16; playing for cash needs 18 (section 5). An account has a username, an email address and a password. The email and the password are your login with Openfort, the company that runs Nova's sign-in and wallet service (section 6). You type them only on Nova's wallet page; Nova's app never sees your password. When you sign up you confirm your email address, accept these terms, and your wallet is made.

The first time you open your wallet on a new device, we email a code to your account's address and the device opens once you type it. You can keep playing on a new device straight away after that.

Keep your password and your email account safe. Anyone who has both can reach your wallet, and we cannot stop that or undo what they do. One account per person: do not share it, sell it, or play on someone else's.

4. Playing fair

Play with a normal browser, as yourself. These are not allowed:

  • bots, scripts, modified clients, or anything else that plays for you or helps you play;
  • more than one account, or letting someone else play on yours;
  • teaming up with other players in a room, or losing on purpose to move money to someone;
  • hiding where you are (a VPN, a proxy, a data-centre connection) to get round the country rule;
  • trying to break the games or the service for others.

Every finished run is checked, practice included. Our server checks every run you finish for signs of cheating. A practice run decides nothing and costs nothing. In cash play, our game server runs the match and decides the result, and our checks run before the room pays.

Only hard proof cancels a paid result. If the checks find hard proof of cheating in a paid match before it pays, that result does not count and the room is refunded to its entrants. Softer signs are recorded; on their own they never change a result.

A person confirms every closure. When our statistics suggest that an account or a wallet is cheating, a person looks at it; nothing closes an account by itself. A closure stops cash play for that account, its wallet and anything linked to them. It lapses after one year, or three years where it rests on hard proof. A closure never takes money from your wallet: the wallet is yours, and you can still cash out.

You can contest. Write to us and say what you think is wrong; a person answers. A closure waits while your contest is open.

5. Age and where you are

You must be 18 or over to play for cash, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Before your first cash entry you tick "I am 18 or older". That box is your own statement, not a check by us: we do not check identity documents and we hold none. MoonPay checks identity when you use it (section 9). Practice has no age gate and needs no account; an account can be made from 16.

Cash play is offered only to connections from these countries: Romania, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Hungary, Norway, Georgia, Canada, Israel, Lebanon, Fiji and Curaçao. The list the app shows when you join a room is the one that applies, and it can change. From everywhere else cash play is closed; practice stays open everywhere. We read your country from your connection each time you join, and we refuse connections from hosting networks. If playing for money is not allowed where you are, or at your age, do not play for cash.

If we learn that someone under 18 has played for cash, cash play closes for that account at once, and if MoonPay was used we tell MoonPay.

6. Your wallet

It is your own wallet. Every account has its own self-custodial wallet, made at sign-up by Openfort's wallet service. It holds USDC, a dollar stablecoin issued by Circle (not by us), on the Base network. The wallet's key is split into parts so that neither we nor Openfort can use your wallet on our own; it opens when you sign in.

We never hold or move your money. Money leaves your wallet only when you sign for it: an entry when you tap Ready, a transfer when you send one. Our server cannot sign for you.

A forgotten password is reset by email, through Openfort. After a password reset, or after your email address changes, cash-outs and key export wait 24 hours. You can keep playing during the wait.

Key export. You may export your wallet's private key and use it elsewhere. We show a warning first, we may ask for a code from your email, and we email you when a key is shown. Whoever holds the key controls the wallet; after an export we cannot protect it.

"This wasn't me." Every security email we send carries a link. It freezes cash-outs, card purchases and key export from Nova's pages until you reset your password (then the 24-hour wait runs) or we lift it. It cannot stop someone who already has your key.

Large cash-outs. Above $500 in one day, a cash-out asks for your password again and a code from your email.

The blockchain. A transfer on Base is final: nobody, us included, can reverse it. Money sent to a wrong address, or as anything other than USDC on Base, can be lost for good. Base and USDC are run by others and can be slow, stopped or changed by them.

An account whose wallet holds money cannot be deleted. Move the money out first (section 12).

7. Cash play

Rooms. Each game lists its open rooms; you see every seat's level, never a name. Joining a room is free. Quick play joins the first open room.

The ready check. When a room has enough players, everyone in it gets a 15-second ready check. Ready ($1) signs your entry; nothing leaves your wallet before that. The match starts only when everyone in that check tapped Ready, and that is the moment the entries are taken. If you do not tap Ready in time, or you tap Leave, you are removed from the room and no money moves; three of those in ten minutes means a two-minute wait before you can join again. Every Ready also runs an invisible human check (Cloudflare Turnstile).

The entry. One entry costs $1 in USDC and buys one match. There are no extra lives and nothing to buy during a match. You pay no network fee to enter; we pay it.

Where the money waits. Your entry goes straight from your wallet into the room in our settlement smart contract on Base, an on-chain escrow. The contract has no owner, no pause and no upgrade. Money in it can go only to the room's entrants, to our fixed fee address and to our fixed tax address, and only by the contract's own rules.

Our fee. 15 % of every entry, shown before you play. It is our only revenue. It stays in escrow with your entry and reaches us only when the room pays out; if the room is refunded, our fee comes back to you too. Any VAT on the fee is paid by us out of it, never added on top. We charge nothing to add money or to cash out.

The prize. The winner takes the whole pot after our fee. For example, in a two-player room the pot is $2.00, our fee is $0.30 and the winner receives $1.70, before any prize tax (section 8). Players tied for first split the pot evenly (an odd cent goes to the lowest seat). Only a player who finished the match can win. The contract pays the winner's wallet directly when the room settles.

When a room is refunded in full, our fee included: fewer than two players entered; nobody finished the match; the match was lost on our side (our game server, our network or the chain failed); hard proof of cheating cancelled the result (section 4); or no result reached the contract by the room's deadline, after which anyone can trigger the refund from the contract. Refunds are never taxed.

Disconnects. Your own disconnect is never refunded. If you have not arrived in the match 30 seconds after the entries are in, you are out and you lose. If your connection drops during a match, the game gives you a few seconds to come back and then you lose by that game's rules. A failure on our side is the refund case above.

Limits. A daily maximum of cash matches per account (200 today). Players linked by the same wallet, device, network or funding source are never seated in the same room.

Levels. Each player has a level per game that rises as they play and never goes down. It is a badge on your seat, not a ranking; there are no boards.

Results. The result card shows your place, the prize, the tax withheld and what reached your wallet. Each room's evidence record becomes public once the room is over: the wallet addresses, a fingerprint of each seat's inputs, the verdict and the level that was played, and never a name.

8. Prize tax

Romanian law makes the organiser of a prize competition withhold income tax on prizes, and we do that at source. When a room pays, the contract sends the net prize to the winner's wallet and the tax share to one fixed company tax address; we pay it to the Romanian tax authority (ANAF) and file the reports.

  • Your country of residence sets your rate. You choose it once and can change it for later entries. The rate is fixed when you enter a room, and it is visible on the blockchain as a number (0, 10 or 16 %); your country, name and tax number are not.
  • Residents of Romania: no tax on a prize up to RON 600. Every prize at today's $1 entry is below that.
  • Residents of other countries: 16 % of the prize, unless we hold a valid tax-residence certificate from you; then the rate of the tax treaty between Romania and your country applies (0 % or 10 % for many countries).
  • Winners who live outside Romania are asked once, after their first win, for their full legal name and, if they have one, their tax number. The yearly report to ANAF needs them.

Any tax you owe in your own country on what you win is yours to handle.

9. Adding money and cashing out

Adding money by crypto transfer. Your wallet's address is shown with a QR code. Send only USDC on the Base network to it; anything else can be lost. The terms and fees of the exchange or wallet you send from apply.

Adding money by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay runs through MoonPay, an independent company with its own terms, privacy policy and identity checks (KYC). MoonPay decides whether to serve you, collects your card and identity details itself and shows its fees before you pay; we never see your card or your documents. The money arrives in your own wallet. This is offered only in the countries of section 5, and it is not switched on yet: it starts when MoonPay agrees to work with us. Until then, money comes in by crypto transfer only.

Cashing out to an address. You choose the address and the amount, confirm a few characters of the address, and send. We pay the network fee, charge no fee and set no minimum. We email you after every cash-out.

Cashing out to a bank runs through MoonPay too, under its own terms, fees and identity check. It is not switched on yet, for the same reason.

What can make a cash-out wait: the 24-hour wait after a password reset or an email change, a "This wasn't me" freeze, the password-and-code step above $500 in a day, and at most five cash-outs an hour from Nova's pages. We never lock your money in any other way: no withdrawal minimum, no play-through, no rollover.

10. Disputes and complaints

If a result looks wrong, write to us: which game, roughly when, what you saw and what you expected. We acknowledge within five working days and give a decision within thirty days of having what we need, or tell you before then why it will take longer. For a paid match we look at the game server's record and the room's evidence, and we tell you what the record shows, what we decided and why. The Disputes page has the rest, including the bodies you can go to outside of us.

11. Playing within your limits

Cash play is $1 a match and practice is free. If you want to stop playing for cash, write to us: we close cash play for your account without arguing, we do not offer you anything to stay, and we do not reopen it on a request made in the moment. In Romania, Joc Responsabil answers free on 0800 800 099. The Responsible play page lists more help.

12. Closing your account

You. Under You, Delete my account deletes your Nova account. It is refused while your wallet holds money or while you sit in a room: cash out first. After it, we delete your login at Openfort as well, without undue delay. Delete my data, also under You, clears what a device keeps for practice. The Privacy page says what the law makes us keep after a deletion.

Us. If you break section 4 or section 5, we can close cash play or your account. Your wallet and the money in it stay yours.

13. The waiting list and the test week

The waiting list. Joining it at intellnova.ai is free and needs only your email address (and a first name, if you want to give one). It makes no account and commits you to nothing. You are counted once you confirm your email, one place per email address. You can leave at any time through the link in every email we send, or by writing to us. The waiting list is for people aged 16 or over.

The counter. The page shows how many people have confirmed, out of 1,000. That number comes straight from the list: we never add to it, and nobody is counted who did not confirm.

The countdown. When 1,000 people have confirmed and the platform is ready, a countdown to Nova's public release starts on the page, and its end is shown when it starts. Until both are true there is no date, and the page says so. If we find something during testing that would make the release unsafe for players or their money, we can pause the countdown; the page then says so and why.

The test week. Before real money opens, players from the waiting list are invited to an invite-only test week. It runs on test money only: test money has no value, cannot be bought, sold, sent out or cashed out, and is wiped after the test. The test rooms work like cash rooms, so a tester needs an account, must be 18 or over and must connect from one of the countries in section 5.

The beta-tester promise. 100 testers chosen from the waiting list get 10 USDC in their own wallet when real-money play opens. One per person: one account, one wallet. We decide how testers are chosen. The 10 USDC is sent to the wallet of the tester's own Nova account; it needs no deposit and no play, and once it arrives it is yours like any other money in your wallet (section 6).

14. Provided as is

Nova is young software. It can be slow, buggy, offline, reset or changed without notice. If a paid match is lost on our side, the room is refunded (section 7). Beyond that, the service is provided as is, with no warranties of any kind, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss or damage arising from its use. Nothing here limits a liability the law does not let us limit, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

15. Law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can go to the courts the consumer rules allow.

16. Changes

When these terms change, the version line at the top changes with them, and the app asks you to accept the new version before your next cash entry. The current text is always readable under You and on intellnova.ai.

17. Privacy

What Nova keeps, where, for how long and how to delete it is on the Privacy page, right next to this one.
